Things are starting to get exciting here in the valley again - and I can’t keep up. Each week, I take a look at events and happenings in The Valley and choose three things that look adventurous from Aspen down to Glenwood Springs. Here are my picks of the week: Aspen Open Mic Night, Basalt Crown Mountain Summerfest, and Belly Up - Jurassic 5.
Aspen: Stand-up Comedy Open Mic Night @ Wheeler Opera House | Wednesday June 7 | 8:00 PM
Aspen locals have the opportunity to showcase their talent and funniness. Sign up to get your 5 minutes of fame. Kevin Heinz is pretty busy tomorrow, spearheading Summerfest from 5 - 7 pm. He’s headed to Wheeler Opera house right after, but stay at Crown Mountain for Ivory Deville who starts at 7:20 pm. I’ll be in the Margarita Tent! Saturday’s festivities start at 3:00 pm! Head on over for margaritas, drinks, foam city and BROTHER’S KEEPER headlines at 7:15 pm.
